COMO, IT– Asly Turkun says 99 percent of Vanelli’s production is geared to exclusive, customized fabrics for high end customers.
“High end residential is 70 percent of our business today with the balance (30 percent) in contract markets,” she adds. “The high end business has not been as affected as the lower end of the market,” she says.
According to Vanelli Area Sales Manager Orhan Kerim Kasaman, “contract projects are still going on in Lebanon despite the war; I’m still finding new clients in the Middle East; South Africa’s high end market is expanding and Moroccan buyers are looking for new things.”
