Valdese Weavers Promote Crisp

VALDESE, North Carolina – Valdese Weavers has promoted Joel R. Crisp to vice president of global operations, they announced on Tuesday, Mar. 13.
In his role, Crisp will be in charge of the Valdese International Product (VIP) brand, where products are designed and developed in the company's North Carolina facilities but sourced from offshore locations. In the VIP brand, Crisp will design and develop products to be sourced from customers abroad as well as overseeing the Valdese Weavers sourced fabric stocking program for distribution to the company's customers in the U.S.
Crisp has worked in the textile industry for 30 years and came to Valdese Weavers in 2005 after having served as the vice president of global sourcing for the Robert Allen Group.
