VALDESE, North Carolina -- Jason Earles was appointed sales manager for Valdese International Products (VIP), a division of Valdese Weavers, earlier this week.

''Valdese Weavers has continued to grow and prosper despite tough industry conditions,'' Earles said. ''The VIP division provides another opportunity for growth for the company and further expands their product offerings for the customers. Earles comes to Valdese after nearly three years as the national sales manager for the piece goods division with The Robert Allen Group.

''Jason has earned an excellent reputation in our market and is a great addition to our team,'' said Joel Crisp, vp of global operations at Valdese. ''He will coordinate activities with the existing sales force with emphasis on customer interface.''
