Tom Roth Sells Interest in Roth Fabric, roth & thompkins textiles Created

NORWALK, Connecticut — Tom Roth has sold his interest in Roth Fabric, Inc., an importer of Indian fabrics to his former partners, John Tompkins and Lori Roth-Tompkins.

Roth will focus on his Norwalk-based retail store, Weathervane Hill and the wholesale division sold to his previous partners will be now known as roth & tompkins textiles. It is also understood that Roth maintains a financial interest in roth & tompkins textiles but this could not be confirmed with Roth. He is basically out of the picture with the newly named company in order to focus on his retail business.

Thomas Bruno continues as executive vice president, sales of roth & tompkins textiles which he joined several years ago after being vice president of sales for Spectrum Fabrics and then Covington Fabrics, his previous post.

Benchmark, a newly created hospitality fabrics business will also continue as a division of roth & tompkins textiles it has been learned.
