GREENWICH, Connecticut -- Robin Slough has been named president of American Silk Mills, Inc., reporting to John Sullivan, principal.

For the past six years, Slough was vice president of sales and marketing for the firm which has prospered under her watch with an annual growth rate of five to eight percent with improved customer service and upgraded design.

American Silk Mills is one of the oldest mills in America and traces its roots to a mill that was founded in 1838.
