Sardelli Leaves Waverly For Brunschwig & Fils

March 23, 2000

New York – Waverly has announced that Albert Sardelli, vice president and creative director, is leaving the company. Sardelli has been with Waverly for almost four years. He said that he would begin working at Brunschwig & Fils Inc. on April 17.

"My responsibilities at Brunschwig and Fils will be very similar to what I've done at Waverly," Sardelli said. "I'll be working with color and design direction and creating collections of fabrics and wallcoverings."

Prior to his work at Waverly, Sardelli worked for a brief time at Covington and for 12 years at Wamsutta bedlinens, a division of Springs Industries.

At press time, the company hadn't filled the position. In the meantime, according to sources in Waverly's press relations department, the staff will report directly to Waverly president Christiane Michaels.
