Sardelli Goes to Brunschwig & Fils

August 2, 2000

New York - Waverly has announced that Albert Sardelli is leaving the company. Sardelli, who is vice president and creative director, has been with Waverly for almost four years. He said that he will begin working at Brunschwild & Fils in April.

''My responsibilities at Brunschwild and Fils will be very similar to what I've done at Waverly,'' Sardelli said. ''I'll be working with color and design direction and creating collections of fabrics and wallcoverings.''

Prior to his work at Waverly, Sardelli worked briefly at Covington and for 12 years at Wamsutta bedlinens, a division of Springs Industries.

At press time, Waverly hadn't filled the opening created by Sardelli's depature. In the meantime, according to sources in Waverly's press relations department, the staff will report directly to Waverly president Christiane Michaels.
