Richloom Names Glenda Soloniuk

NEW YORK, New York — Glenda Soloniuk has been named vice president of worldwide sourcing, a new position at Richloom Fabrics Group.

At the same time, Lisa Ayers will assume Soloniuk's former role as Richloom design director for furniture fabrics reporting to David Titlebaum, vice president of sales, furniture division.

Ayers has been with Richloom just over a year and was previously with Victor Innovatex and before that she was with Mastercraft.

Soloniuk will head up and expand the Richloom worldwide sourcing network and expects to discover timely looks, future design concepts and new avenues of sourcing, the company said.

She will be based in the New York corporate office but expects to be traveling extensively. Her travel will become more global in this new position, but she still expects to be making trips back and forth from the Charlotte, North Carolina area, where she lives, to corporate offices in New York. Soloniuk has been with the company for 15 years.

Making the most of Richloom Fabrics' unique blend of mill and converter expertise Soloniuk will also source new yarns to make fabrics at Richoom's mill, Berkshire Weaving, in addition to seeking out new regions for sourcing product on the converting end of its business.
