Regal Names Sales Rep

Middleton, MA—Regal Fabrics Inc. and Krelan Fabrics named Harvey A. Barnett Jr. sales representative to the southeast furniture market.
The two companies specialize in sales of imported jacquard upholsteries. Regal Fabrics offers its line of "Fresh Fabrics" in the mid-price level. Krelan Fabrics, Regal's recently acquired new division, offers higher-end wovens with particular design or construction advantages. Barnett will be responsible for sales to all furniture manufacturing companies in North Carolina and Virginia.
"We're delighted to have someone with Harvey's extensive experience in the furniture industry," stated Steve Kahan, president of Regal Fabrics. "He has worked on both sides of the market, as a fabric rep and as a furniture merchandiser. We think that background will be quite valuable to Regal Fabrics and to our customers."
Barnett was with Sunbury Fabrics for 18 years before taking time off for family needs. He has also worked in design and merchandising for several furniture manufacturers, including Clyde Pearson, Sherrill and Woodmark. Barnett is a member of ASID and lives in High Point, NC.
