Mongiello Named COO

White Plains, NY (USA) - Patrick Mongiello was named president and chief operating officer of Brunschwig & Fils, the century-old firm noted for its fine quality decorative fabrics, wallpapers, trimmings, upholstered furniture, tables and lamps. He now oversees all apsects of the company's operations, including marketing, sales and promotion and press relations, according to a company spokesman.

As vice president, marketing and sales from 1990 to the present, Mongiello increased the export business. He created an international division within the company and brought into it three foreign textiles companies: Gaston Y Daniela (Spain), Decortex (Italy) and Verel de Belval (France). He oversaw the opening of new showrooms in London, Paris and Australia. He began with Brunschwig & Fils in the late '60s, working in the New York showroom, mentored by Zelina and Roger Brunschwig.
