NEW YORK—Jerry Newman, Textile Sales Agent to the world, has passed away at 91.

He was an Icon and great mentor and friend to those he worked with in the Home Furnishings Trade. Always positive with a great sense of humor and a person you could count on. Jerry had been a sales rep for an American mill for over 50 years.

He left to work with his son, Jeff who started his own international sales agency. Together they had a successful business until Jerry retired due to back surgery. It was their greatest joy to be working together.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Ruth and his one and only granddaughter, Gabby. He made a positive impact on those he worked with and will be truly missed by the industry, his friends and his family.
