TORONTO, Canada – Chris Wood, CEO of Toronto-based Blue Mountain Wallcoverings has purchased the assets of J.L. deBall of Canada, the manufacturer of woven velvet previously owned by Girmes of Germany.

Wood confirmed the purchase which occurred in November 2004.

Paul Flay, CEO of J.L. deBall of Canada has confirmed he will stay on until a successor has been found. He expected to retire next June. He was with J.L. deBall for 25 years.
