Higgins Joins American Century Contract

SALISBURY, North Carolina — Frank Higgins has been named contract sales manager for American Century Home Fabrics, a new position and division.
He was previously in a similar position at Robert Allen Group for over 20 years. In his new position, he reports to David Lappert, vice president.
American Century will participate in its first Hospitality Design Show later this month. The contract venture for American is a new effort.
American Century is a manufacturer and converter of popular priced upholstery and multi-purpose fabrics as well as a major cut and sew resource for major retailers such as Target and Kohls of the United Sates and Europe.
The company headquarters is now located in the Building of Century at 5200 S. Main Street, Salisbury, North Carolina.
In addition, American Century confirmed that Marion Murray has left the New York office of American Century where she was design director. She had joined the company in December. Her future plans are not known at this time.
