Ray Parker is an award-winning-newspaper journalist, who after a stint in marketing, returns to his first passion as the new associate editor for Fabrics & Furnishings International.

He hopes to build on the newspaper’s legacy in reporting on the upholstery and curtain-fabrics industry around the world.
Previously, he covered LGBT, government and education issues at the Salt Lake Tribune, Naples Daily News and Arizona Republic, where he delved into several social media projects that increased readership.

When he’s not reporting and editing content, he’s often hiking with his dog or leading a yoga class in Miami Beach.
