The promotion of Marquez was made as Joe Bettini left Swavelle after 29 years with the company. Bettini was most recently vice president, hospitality division at Swavelle Millcreek Inc. Here as of April 1.

Prior to that, he was involved with contract sales at Robert Allen, the jobber.

His future plans will be made known at a later date but it is expected that Bettini will remain involved with the hospitality business, instead of taking retirement.

Today, Swavelle continues to be an important residential and contract fabrics converter with a major stake in hospitality sales.
