Duquesne Joins Burlington
December 5, 1999
Greensboro, N.C. - Stephan P. Duquesne has joined the International Sales division of Burlington House.
This was confirmed by sources at Cone although neither Duquesne nor Burlington House President Jack Ganley could be reached for comment. Company officials described Duquesne's departure from Cone as amicable.
Duquense will be involved in selling a variety of home furnishings products internationally including upholstery, bedding and drapery from the $500 million Burlington House division.
For the past two years he was Director of International Sales for Cone Decorative Fabrics based in Cliffside, N.C., reporting to Murray Engle, President in New York. Prior to joining Cone, Duquesne was International Sales Director of Thomaston Mills, a bedding producer in Thomaston, Ga.
Cone Decorative Fabrics has not yet decided how it will replace Duquesne, but company sources said a number of scenarios are under consideration.
