Charles Adams Appointed Chief Sales Officer for Victor Group

QUEBEC, Canada – Victor Group, a leading North American-based textile company, appointed Charles Adams to the position of chief sales officer Friday Oct. 16. Adams, a long-time veteran of the textile industry, will be in charge of all the sales services for residential, contract, and apparel and specialty.

While the Victor group has a lengthy history in the contract market, it acquired the Quaker Fabric Corporation and recently the Craftex brand, creating significant growth in its residential market as well. As the company expands into divergent markets, Adams's background and experience will prove imperative to the company's future success.

"Charles is known for his strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial vision, his profit and performance-oriented management style as well as his global strategic vision of the market and enterprise," said Alain Duval, CEO and president of Victor Group. "With nearly 30 years of experience and a proven track record of success, Charles expertise will be invaluable as we look to continue our growth."

Adams has a combined 28 years of experience in the textile industry, including his most recent position as President and CEO of Morgans Fabrics which lasted two years. Previously, Adam worked with Milliken & Company or 26 years in varying positions such as General Manager of the Commercial Interiors Group and the Decorative Fabrics Business.
