Valdese Weavers Donates $25K to the American Red Cross

Valdese, N.C. (USA) - Recently, Valdese Weavers, Inc., a North Carolina-based manufacturer that specializes in traditional and contemporary woven fabrics, donated $25,000 in proceeds from sales of its pattern Old Glory to the American Red Cross. Mike Shelton (seated left), president and CEO of Valdese Weavers, presented a check and a framed fabric sample to Pam Wallace, financial development director of the American Red Cross in North Carolina. Looking on (standing from left to right) are Jim Bennett, chair of fund development for the Burke County Chapter ARC, Cindy Bellas, executive director of the Burke County Chapter ARC and Zack Taylor, director of sales and marketing for Valdese Weavers.
