NEW YORK, New York — The Robert Allen Group has launched a mobile website, Online Librarian, which is designed to provide interior designers with a time-saving tool for searching and ordering fabrics using real-time inventory levels of the company’s brands: Robert Allen, Beacon Hill, Robert Allen @ Home and Robert Allen Contract.

In addition to searching for fabric and placing orders with Online Librarian, clients can request samples, check stock and delivery status, and obtain up-to-the-minute piece-level yardage quantities and reserves for all skus contained within any of the sample books of The Robert Allen Group’s brands. Scheduled reserve expiration dates are also made available.  

"Over the past months, we’ve been focused on making it quicker and easier for interior designers to search for product and place orders," said Greg Tarver, who was appointed to president in June. "The mobile app has been on my radar for some time now because my goal is to give our customers the tools to build their business. To that end, Online Librarian helps our company achieve this goal so I’m very passionate about this launch. Now we can offer customers online and mobile access to real-time inventory information about each and every design, enabling interior designers to access the critical information they need at the moment they need it, no matter where they are working."

Via Online Librarian, sample books are searchable by book name, book number or release date and clients will be offered an instant inventory snapshot for maintaining libraries and showrooms featuring trim books for all of the company’s brands. A print link is available for customers who prefer hard copies when updating libraries.
