Illzach, France - Alain Thirion, chairman of Texunion's textile division confirmed that Texunion is bidding on assets of Cotonniere D'Alsace, which recently filed for bankruptcy and ceased doing business. The Cotonniere D''Alsace stand was closed down during the Heimtextil exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany in January. Thirion said that he expects Texunion's negotiations for the French manufacturer's assets to wrap up in about one month.
