Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh -- Global Floor Furnishers’ brand Sureka has recently launched a latest range of hand-knotted patch carpets and hand-knotted patch rugs.

Available in fine handmade knots, the collections are available in ultra-affordable prices for clients with medium budgeThese are flat wovens and are suited for interiors ranging from that of hotels to villas to residential spaces. Popular with wholesalers abroad, the collections are available for 90 USD per square metres if ordered in bulk.The range is 8.35 USD per sq. ft. for assorted designs in hand-knotted and 30 USD per sq mtrs or 2.79 USD per sq. ft for handwoven flat rugs.

Main materials used for the merchandise are woollen yarn with warp and weft in cotton yarn. Raw wool imported from New Zealand is used for the process.

Sureka also offers hand-tufted rugs, hand-knotted rugs, and hand-woven rugs. “We mainly deal with overseas interior designers and decorators for their demand of handmade carpets,” says Aasyushmaan Sureka, CEO of Global Floor Furnishers. The merchandise is custom made as per demand explains Sureka. The brand is also, now, concentrating on the domestic market in a way that will not affect its exports.
