Stan Fradin to Retire June 1

Frankfurt, Germany--Stanley Fradin will retire his post as President of Rockland Mills, Inc. on June. 1. He made the announcement during a retirement dinner for his colleague, Rockland's longtime European agent Henner Haufe. Fradin has been with Rockland for 48 years. He is largely credited with building the Roc-Lon brand of blackout drapery lining for the company and the meteoric growth in export sales. "We expect Stan to continue to serve us in some capacity even after he moves on," according to Mark Berman, Chairman of Rockland Industries Inc., the parent company. Berman expects to announce a new President by June 1.
