HIGH POINT, NC–”Prints are hot and growing further,” says Steve Kahan, President, Regal Fabrics, the Middleton, MA converter.
“Digital printing has changed the face of printing. It’s easy to do things on a minimum basis,” the
Wovens converter explains. “Tariffs are settling down. We work with it,” he adds. Regal’s print line is priced from $8-$15 a yard.
Regal is buying woven goods from China and India, about 60 percent of its sourcing today. “Tariffs forced us to diversify our group of sources,” he says.
This was the major trend for converters like Regal at Interwoven here.
