Marx Opens Model Airplane Museum
November 5, 2025
JUNO BEACH, FL (USA) David Marx, owner of Express Air Freight has opened Aviation Museum On the Beach, Inc., 85 miles north of Miami Beach.
The 70 something entrepreneur has moved thousands of tons of freight worldwide for the past 35 years, especially furnishing fabrics for his major jobber clientele. It’s obvious that Marx has put his heart and soul in this museum dedicated to aviation aficionados, collectors, children and their parents.
His massive collection of airplane memorabilia collected over a lifetime is now housed in this museum. The collection includes airplane models of defunct airline brands like Braniff and Pan Am; model airplanes large and small are on display; some costing thousands of dollars.
It’s worth the trip if you go and are spending time in Florida this winter season.
Eric Schneider, the publisher of Fabrics & Furnishings International drove 170 miles round trip to see it and he will tell you–it was well worth it!
