Lalonde Says Mill Acquisition “Not” on HIs Radar, “But you never know.”

MIAMI BEACH, FL—Daniel Lalonde and his beautiful wife Yvonne flew into Miami from Milan to greet a big crowd of interior designers and architects at the B&B Italia showroom opening in the Design District last night.
Lalonde is the CEO of Design Holding S.p.A, the owner of high end home brands
B&B Italia, Flos, Louis Poulsen, Arclinea, Maxalto, Azucena, Fendi Casa and Lumens.
Lalonde says “fabric suppliers are not on his radar for future acquisitions but you never know!”
He was the man instrumental in putting together the high end brand portfolio for LVMH over a 17 year period and now he is doing it again for Design Holding!
Meanwhile, Francesca Busnelli, the daughter of B&B’s founder, has purchased the Enzo degli Angiuouni mill. Angiuoni is a major supplier to B&B Italia along with Dedar and Limonta.
Blandine Brexner is the fabric buyer for Angiuoni and she may be making adjustments in sourcing. For one thing, she needs new suppliers of outdoor fabrics and these may or may not be Italian.
