Kravet Makes First Investment in Upholstered Furniture Business

Woodbury, NY – Kravet Inc., 105 years old, has made an investment in Tomlinson Companies, which is the holding company for the Tomlinson, Directional and Erwin Lambeth upholstered furniture collections.
“Tomlinson has long been an important supplier to Kravet, and this transaction ensures continuity of supply chain and design for the Kravet clientele as well as continuity for the Tomlinson Companies overall,” a Kravet spokesman says. 
Tomlinson Companies is a 122-year-old furniture company that over the last 36 years acquired Erwin Lambeth, Directional and Carter Furniture. Its focus is manufacturing high end upholstered furniture for better End Retailers and The Interior Design Trade.

Kravet Inc. owns Kravet, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils, GP & J Baker and Donghia, and distributes a series of other high end market brands.
