Hometex is New Turkish Textile Exhibit

ISTANBUL—The second half of 2022 is loaded with international textile fairs.
Hometex is the new name for the fair formerly known as Evteks.
Hometex is now sponsored by Tetsiad, Association of Turkish Home Textile Industrialists and Businessmen and will be held May 17-21, 2022, at the Istanbul Expo Center.
This Fair will feature 1,000 exhibits and is the second largest textile fair after Heimtextil in Frankfurt. Hometex is especially important this year because of the closed markets in Ukraine and Russia that were very important for the Turkish textile suppliers.
That business is lost for the duration of the war in Ukraine.
To review, Proposte is held April 26-28 in Como, Italy.
Hometex will be held in Istanbul May 17-21 and Heimtextil is scheduled June 21-24.
Heimtextil will resume its regular time on January 10-13, 2023
