Giovanni Vaj Sells Majority Vay Ownership to B4 Investments; Olivier Delhomme Joins Vay

Chieri, (Torino) IT–Giovanni Vaj has sold 56% of his company Vay Group to B4Investments, a private family investing company based in Rome.
Vay, a furnishings fabric converter, will now be a part of an investment fund that will purchase other small to medium sized Italian companies.
Giovanni is the third generation of the Vay Group that was started in 1936 which reported sales of 30 million Euros in 2024. Vay exports nearly 100 percent of its collection worldwide.
The new arrangement is expected to improve Vay’s organizational structure, expand product lines as well as further build the international fabric business.
Vaj will retain 40 percent ownership of the Vay Group and will continue as President.
Meanwhile, Olivier Delhomme has also joined the Vay Group with a minor four percent stake in the business. Prior to joining Vay, Delhomme was an 18 year employee of Bru Textiles in Kontich, Belgium where he was General Manager of FR-One Fire Retardant Fabrics, a Bru division.
After Delhomme left Bru in 2024, he established Design Opera Associates which specialized in transforming brands through new distribution channels, strategic branding solutions and product development.
Prior to joining Bru in April, 2006, Delhomme worked for P/Kaufmann Group in Bournemouth, UK for four years and before that he worked for Monkwell, a fabrics editeur.
