Enzo degli Angiuoni Says “No Deal” to Limonta

GARBAGNATE, IT—Enzo degli Angiuoni S.p.A., the 40-year-old upholstery fabric weaver was reportedly sold to Limonta S.p.A. in an earlier story on the F&FI website, but the deal was not completed, F&FI has learned.
Limonta is the largest textile manufacturer in Italy.
Trade reports say that Enzo Angiuoni the weaving mill’s founder, walked away from the deal at the 11th hour because the original terms did not hold up and the negotiation went on too long.
Enzo Angiuoni himself had previously retired from the company several years ago. Both companies are privately held and little else is known about this failed transaction.
As a result, Enzo degli Angiuoni is doing business as usual and whether the company is in talks with anyone else is not known.
