Brussels - Doris Deng and Wayne Lin have formed a joint-venture with a Chinese loom manufacturer in a new upholstery fabric export line under the name of Kentex. Lin is the principal of A Plus International Inc. (Chino, Calif., U.S.A.), a medical products company. A Plus is also a partner with Deng in Shanghai Victoria, one of the largest fabric retailers in China.

The weaving mill is known as Fabric King. It is located in Huonzhou about three hours from Shanghai.

The mill has 20 narrow width looms plus 30 wide width jacquard looms. Upholstery production for export is expected in 2001, Deng said. F&FI
