Deepa Names New COO; VP of Design and Studio Director

San Francisco, CA (USA) - Deepa Textiles announced that Howard Fishman has joined the company as president an chief operating officer.

Prior to the appointment, Fishman was with BKM, a $30 million Steelcase dealership in Los Angeles, where he held posts including director of sales and marketing and as genreal manager.

In the furniture industry, Fishman has held management positions with Brayton International, Knoll International and PSI. Deepa has also announced today that Jim Hill joined as vice president of design and studio director. Hill has a background in design including in interior architecture, furniture, carpet and textile design.

Most recently, Hill owned bradley James Hill Design in Los Angeles, a company he founded in 1991 that provided interior design consulting services for high-end commercial and residential projects as well as furniture and project design.
