HIGH POINT, NC–Covington Fabrics moved toward sourcing from India and Pakistan in 2014/5 but it still depends on China as an important part of its supply chain, says Greg Tarver, CEO.
“We’re dealing with the tariffs as fairly as we can for our customers,” he says.
“We’re also trying to do more in Mexico and look to establish a trading company in India.
We’re also trying to do more dropshipping to our manufacturing customers,” he adds.
Tarver, who says his hospitality business is booming, is in the midst of building out additional showroom space in its Market Square offices.
