March 27, 2001

Frankfurt, Germany – Concord Home Fashions has introduced a line of prints featuring bright Italian designs by Pamela Ferrari.

The line is priced in the $3.95 to $4.25 range and is pigmented printed in Italy on all cotton. Ferrari is an American designer living in Florence. She moved there 27 years ago when she married an Italian. Her new collection for Concord features nine patterns in seven colors, 60 SKUs in all.

''These are contemporary prints. Everyone needs a European lifestyle print look in the U.S.A. We expect to lead the pack,'' said Roger Burnim, president of Concord Home.

Since 1995, Ferrari has designed several collections for French and Italian companies. Her previous designs for Martex, Bloomcraft and Benetton have also sold well, she said. Ferrari has also designed ceramics for upscale retailers like Neiman Marcus, Saks and Horchow.
