B&T Textilia Buys Delabie Velvet NV

MILAN, IT—B&T Textilia, a Proposte exhibitor based in Waarschut, Belgium completed the purchase of Delabie Velvets NV, in Anzegem, a much smaller mill in December, 2024 according to information on the worldwide web.
B&T produces yarn dyed jacquard fabrics, plain weaves, tapestry and custom-made upholstery fabrics. F&FI estimates sales of this higher end producer in the $20 million+ range.
The acquisition puts B&T Textilia in the velvet business.
Thierry Van Damme is the CEO of B&T. He is also listed as MD of Delabie Velvets. He was unavailable for comment though F&FI contacted his office by phone and email several times.
