Trevira CS for Carpet Launches at HD Expo

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Trevira® CS announced another product which will keep hotel guests safe in the future—Trevira CS Carpets.
Chatsworth, Georgia-based C.W. Industries, Inc. has secured the lead time exclusive for the FR polyester. Celeste Schafer-Chandler showed the product samples at HD Expo in Las Vegas for the first time.
A full product launch will be available by June, according to Chandler.
Vicki Bousman, Trevira CS representative, said of the launch: "For the first time, designers have the ability to do the entire room in Trevira CS—to have a 100% safe room."
In addition, the polyester carpet fiber will be naturally stain resistant, have low moisture absorption, non-allergenic, color-fast and abrasion resistant.
According to Chandler, the product has surpassed all testing over nylon and wool fibers, and will have unlimited design opportunities.
C.W. Industries plans to market the product to the hospitality, transportation, health care and cruise industries.
