Tietex Ticking Renamed Tietex Mattress Solutions to Reflect New Ambitions

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Tietex International, Ltd., has announced that Tietex Ticking has been renamed Tietex Mattress Solutions to reflect the group's ambitions to expand on its fabric product lines for the mattress industry. Specifically, the company plans to concentrate its company resources on developing high-performance fabrics to meet the changing demands of an industry bound to recent production-related legislation.
"We actually will broaden our production of technical fabrics, with increased emphasis on temperature, moisture, and environmental controls," Beth Hunt, Tietex Mattress Solutions' General Manager, stated. Hunt refers to the evolving industry as a "complicated regulatory climate" requiring new cost-effective methods of producing performance fabric products.
"We will broaden our technical fabrics line but will continue to offer unique decorative fabrics with increased emphasis on improving their technical performance and FR capability," Wade Wallace, director of sales and marketing for the group, said. Tietex Mattress Solutions will continue to sell its full range of mattress fabrics with the exception of circular knits and faux knits.
Hunt asserts that "The days when you could offer the same products every year are over. The future is much more complex; so we have now positioned ourselves to be in the forefront of change, by offering technical products, services and solutions."
