The 25th Annual Gold Key Awards Recognize Leaders in Hospitality at IH/M&RS

NEW YORK, New York — Eight grand prize awards were presented during the 25th annual Gold Key Awards breakfast during the IH/M&RS show on November 14 at the Mandarin Oriental.
Categories included: Lobby/Reception Area, Restaurants: Casual Dining, Space, Suite, Restaurants: Fine Dining, Lounge/Bar, Guestroom, and Best Hotel Design.
The big winner of the morning was Studio Gaia's W Seoul Walkerhill, which took home best lobby, best lounge/bar, and best guestroom. Starwood's W brand was also honored with best suite, designed by W Design.
Starwood was awarded the 'Designer of the Year' award, for their work in their St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin, Four Points by Sheraton, and W brands. The award was accepted by Ellen O'Neill.
Judges for this year's Gold Key Awards were: Karen Daroff, Daroff Design; David Ling, David Ling Architecture; DiRoNa member Jo-Ann Makovitzky, Tocqueville Restaurant; Rudy Tasucher, Mandarian Oriental, New York.
The 90-year-old IH/M&RS show is managed by George Little Management.
