Rajnish Arora Plans for Major Expansion, Opens New Offices, Showrooms

MUMBAI, India—Dicitex Furnishings Pvt., with sales of $45 million according to principal Rajnish Arora, will establish a new factory in April under the name of Veena Polyester geared to the production of made-ups.

The production includes stitching, embroidery machines and 122 Somet looms.

Based on this major expansion, Rajnish expects his company to increase sales by another 75 percent in the next three years. The company also recently moved into new corporate offices and showrooms, here.

Dicitex Furnishings will show its new lines at the Grand Hotel in Como in May during Proposte. Recently, the sister company, Dicitex Furnishings created its first lines of TreviraCS® fabrics. The company purchased the yarn from Arison spinning and created the fabrics for a hotel project in Dubai.

Dicitex Furnishings will participate in Evteks in Istanbul where it will show 100 percent silk embroidered fabrics. Rajnish Arora said he plans to import the silk yarn from China and produce both plain Dupion and jacquard varieties of fabrics. The company recently hired its first dedicated silk designer, bringing its total design staff to eight. He is thinking about purchasing some Dornier looms for the silk lines. The company's CAD system is based on EAT software form Germany.
