RM COCO Purchases Kirsch Fabrics, Expands Upholstery Line

December 5, 2005

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Missouri — RM COCO has announced the purchase of Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Kirsch Fabrics. The purchase will increase RM COCO's upholstery offerings in addition to the company's U.S. market share.

"After the recent purchase of Steven Fabrics' cut order division, we had the opportunity to acquire Kirsch Fabrics. We welcomed the chance to further build our customer base and broaden our upholstery fabric selection," said Jim Rust, RM COCO president.

RM COCO is a wholesale distributor/converter of decorative drapery and upholstery fabrics, trim and custom hardware serving the residential and commercial markets.

The purchase marks RM COCO's third acquisition in its 36 year history. Steven Fabrics, a cut order fabric company, also based in Minneapolis, was purchased in October.

The names of both companies will be phased out.

As of December 5, RM COCO will be handling all customer-related inquiries for Kirsch Fabrics.
