Panaz Textile Shields Healthcare Sector From Infection

March 31, 2004

LANCASHIRE, England - To minimize the spread of infection throughout the healthcare arena, Panaz has developed an anti-bacterial, stain-resistant fabric for curtains and blinds.

The fabric, dubbed ''Shield,'' is treated with anti-microbial agents that eliminate the propagation of bacteria, including E-coli and MRSA. ''Shield'' also repels water and oil-based solutions; most stains can be removed with a damp cloth and detergent.

Panaz has been designing and manufacturing fabrics for healthcare environments for nearly 20 years, and offers one of the largest collections of designs for this market in the UK.
