Panaz Reorganizes, Creates New Senior Management Positions

June 30, 2005

LANCASHIRE, UK — Contract furnishings specialist Panaz Limited has created a new tier of senior management at the company. The managers will report directly to Tony Attard, group chief executive. Many of the promotions have come from within the company.

''In order to cope with the outstanding expansion of the company, key new corporate appointments have been made. The aim of these appointments is to initiate and implement company objectives, which include the achievement of even greater aggressive growth in the global contract field,'' said Attard.

Currently the head of Panaz upholstery sales, Andy Copas, has been given additional responsibilities as the company's head of healthcare sector sales. His new post covers product development and sales to hospitals, nursing and care homes in the state and private sectors, educational environments, housing associations and other areas of volume accommodation, according to the company. Reporting to Copas is David Stainsby, who now has additional responsibilities as sales manager for UK upholstery.

Tony O'Donnell, a Panaz export manager since 1999, will become the company's first head of hospitality sector sales.

The UK sales team, which reports to both O'Donnell and Copas, welcomes Jacci Woodcock, Panaz's new sales executive for the Midlands and the South-West. With an eye towards expansion, Anne-Laure Ferault, will take the new position as European sales executive, in effort to bolster export sales.

Design Studio Manager Sarah Lloyd has been named head of creative resource for both the UK and the U.S. Lloyd will work with Attard in the overall design and marketing projection of the company, in addition to her responsibilities at the Panaz Design Studio.

On a broader front, Panaz USA has appointed Tony Lopez to the position of national sales manager. Acting as a liaison between Attard, the Design Studio, the sales team, vendors and customers, Mai Huynh has been promoted to commercial manager. She will also work in conjunction with Sandy Kasler in the Panaz USA accounts department to monitor stock control and debt collection.
