Knoll, Inc. Announces New High End Brand

May 1, 2008

EAST GREENVILLE, Pennslyvania - Knoll, Inc. announces the formation of a new high end textile brand called Knoll Luxe. Designed by creative director Dorothy Cosonas, the line incorporates the modern, minimalist style of Florence Knoll who started the industry's first commercial textile program in 1947. Knoll Luxe will gear towards the high end corporate and hospitality markets, as well as the residential designer.

Over a year in development, the premier collection of Knoll Luxe consists of ten patterns in 71 colorways. Knoll Luxe will be an ongoing endeavor, separate from the rest of the KnollTextiles fabric line, with another introduction in the fall, and two a year henceforth. Knoll Luxe will maintain a separate identity through graphics and unique marketing materials, including tickets, sample folders and brochures made of FSC-certified recycled paper, and a sample box made of recycleable 100 percent acrylic. There will also be a separate web presence, www.knoll-luxe.com.

Fabrics lines North Island, Lyon, Brugge, Bavaria, Garden City, Hampshire, Galloway, Mohair, Prima and Jaipur are the patterns and range in price generally from $94 to $145, with the Mohair at $235.

Knoll Luxe, a luxury fabric division of Knoll, Inc., maintains a marketing and design studio in New York City.
