Designtex Teams Up with Hunter Douglas for Shades and Screens Collection

November 30, -0001

NEW YORK, New York — Designtex has introduced Shades and Screens, a collection of seven new patterns for the shade and privacy screen market that will be available through Nysan Shading Systems, a division of Hunter Douglas Contract.

"For decades we've been bringing solar control solutions to such high-profile projects as MIT and the Museum of Modern Art. This partnership brings these custom solutions plus the incredible range of Designtex fabric to a much wider audience of architects and designers," said Jason Warnock, marketing director of Hunter Douglas Contract's Nysan Solar Shading Division.

The new decorative textiles of Shades and Screens can be used on windows or for privacy screens and interior space dividers. They keep sunlight out, cut solar heat, provide thermal insulation, reduce glare and regulate visible and UV light.

Shades and Screens are available in 78", 106" or 118" widths and can be specified for conferencing centers, restaurants, high-end residential settings and corporate offices just to name a few.

The patterns are knitted and PVC-free options are available.
