Designtex Introduces Cradle to Cradle Trevira CS Collection

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - At the Hospitality Design Expo this past May, Designtex launched its first Silver Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) certified collection, the Alchemy Collection. All of the fabrics in the Alchemy Collection are 100% Trevira CS.
Trevira CS was awarded C2C certification after development by the EPA using Cradle to Cradle protocol. Cradle Trevira CS has also been established as a Technical Nutrient, which means that its materials are designed to be reutilized in an industrial cycle.
Because C2C Trevira CS have been assessed for their impact on human and environmental health with replacement strategies and chemical optimization, C2C Trevira CS can now contribute towards LEED Innovation credit when combined with other C2C products. The collection consists of six patterns inspired by jewelry. The patterns are: Torsad, Chendelier, Bangles, Facets and Links.
