FORT LEE, New Jersey – Area rug and broadloom manufacturer and importer, Couristan has promoted Steve Codella to senior vice president of sales for the Eastern U.S. region.

Codella joined Couristan seven years ago and has worked in the floorcovering industry for 24 years. The company's chairman also announced that a new Western regional sales manager will soon be named.

Couristan was established in 1926 by two brothers and since then has developed a strong business in the hospitality sector with their "Hospitality Concepts" contract custom carpeting division.
