WestPoint Home Announces New President and CEO

NEW YORK, New York — WestPoint Home has appointed John Piazza the home textile producer's new president and CEO, replacing former CEO Joe Pennacchio. He will also serve the same positions for the parent company, WestPoint International, and sit on both companies' board of directors.
Piazza was formerly an award-winning senior corporate officer for Sara Lee Corporation, where he held the title of vice president of marketing and CEO, among other positions. He received the company's President's Award for profit growth exceeding 15 percent seven times during his career there. Piazza has more than 32 years of experience in marketing and selling consumer packaged goods.
Piazza's new duties at WestPoint were assumed last Friday, and he is planning to relocate to New York for the position.
