Tietex Interiors Launches Offshore Program
July 2, 2007
HIGH POINT, North Carolina – Tietex Interiors (TI), a division of Tietex International, has introduced TradeWinds™, an offshore fabric program and business.
According to TI president, Mike Durham, TradeWinds™ was developed to integrate resources which will help mid-market customers manage the complexities surrounding offshore sourcing. Price points, design, delivery, intellectual property, service and quality are among the issues over which customers often struggle, according to Durham. In response, TradeWinds™ is set to offer a total benefits package to aid customers that already have made sizable investments to a global strategy.
To begin, TradeWinds™ will offer 50 new patterns and 500 skus including transitional, traditional and contemporary styles. Durham said TI is prepared to serve customers who have cut-and-sew operations in Asia or those who have cut-and-sew partners.
