NAIROBI, Kenya -- FASHEXPO-Kenya is the first ever international fashion and textiles event that aims at boosting the domestic textile, apparel, and fashion industry of Kenya.

It has been rescheduled for June 10-12, 2021.

“FASHEXPO will serve as a platform for manufacturers, retailers, brands, wholesalers, distributors, traders and retail chains to enhance business by coming under one roof and networking, so as to meet potential buyers/suppliers,” organizers say in a statement.

Apart from the local industry and foreign brands in the country, the event has also attracted interest from manufacturers abroad such as Italy, France, U.K., India, Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Pakistan, organizers say.

The Sarit Expo Centre is one of the largest business complexes in East Africa. Located in the Westland’s suburbs, it houses over 500,000 square feet of space occupied by a diversity of retail outlets, offices, medical facilities, and other utilities. It has been a popular venue for exhibitions.

With more than 25,000 visitors come to the Centre every day, organizers say the Centre continues to be an integral part of Nairobi.

Organizers say companies from more than 40 countries have signed up for the international exhibition, including Australia, Belgium, China, France, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, and the U.K.

The fair organizer is the Expogroup in Dubai.
