Integra Linings Develops Lighter Black Out
August 6, 2002
Myrtle Beach, S.C. (USA) - Integra Linings, a division of Integra Group has introduced a patented drapery lining, ''Solaro,'' that is said to be half of the weight of conventional blackout lining, carbon free and environmentally safe.
The new linings are the basis of a new family of fabrics for the firm which can be heat transfer printed and are dry cleanable.
"Solaro fabrics are inherently flame retardant and pass NFPA 701 small scale code," said Terry Purcell, owner of the patented product. "Solaro is the only light blocking product line that offers a government thermal barrier insulation rating," he said. F&FI
