Enduratex Launches Educational Vlog Series: Vinyl 101

CORONA, Calif. -- Enduratex, a provider of performance upholstery fabrics, has created a video blog (vlog) series to educate the design community on the many terms, technical processes, and differences of coated fabrics.

“We received numerous positive comments, and even more questions, after a recent speaking engagement entitled, Vinyl 101,” says Eric Petersen, director of sales and marketing for Enduratex. “We realized that there was a lot of information that designers wanted, that either wasn’t easily accessible to them or they hadn’t been taught, so we decided to create a series that informs, educates, and provides a vehicle to answer questions."

The series, entitled VINYL 101, features Enduratex veteran, ‘Professor’ John Kessler and Petersen, as they sit down and discuss the many questions often fielded by the Enduratex team. The videos are educational, but not stuffy, and impart a great deal of information on current topics and terminology.

“We’re all working remotely now and could use a positive break from the news of the day," Petersen says. "This is a great opportunity to learn more about coated fabrics, from the lingo used, to how to specify product, as well as the differences between products. We hope the industry will find these short videos informational and even entertaining.”

Enduratex provides performance upholstery fabrics to the automotive, hospitality, marine, healthcare, and spa industries. Enduratex has U.S. product warehouses in Lebanon, Tennessee, and La Mirada, California. Its parent company, China General Plastics Corporation, is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.

China General Plastics Corporation of America, or Enduratex, is part of U.S.I., a $2.3 billion publicly traded company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
